Definitely not! While the Bijou system is portable and collapsible, it was designed to be a heavy-duty, weight-bearing structure. Once assembled, it weighs over 150 lbs and can be left out year-round.

The steel-hinged bracket is coated with a durable, UV-resistant powder finish for long-lasting performance. The metal hardware is crafted from stainless steel, ensuring robustness, while the anchor feet are molded from UV-resistant injected nylon.

Bijou is the world's first portable play structure. When assembled, It weighs approximately 150 lbs/ 113kg. We also include 15 x 10" long ground stakes for extra security.

We use pressure-treated lumber to ensure your Bijou is safe and long-lasting, granting resistance to decay and mildew.

Because of the shape, the hinged top bracket, and the permeable panels, Bijou holds up great in windy conditions. Should the mainstay be pulled from its stakes because of the hinged top, it would fold up and land on the ground. It won't hold wind like some other outdoor toys.

While Bijou is designed to withstand outdoor conditions, storing it during extended periods of non-use is advised.
